The IIT Alumni Council is organised so as to include interested IIT Alumni from around the globe, across all IITs and across all age groups. The IIT Alumni Council comprises of one coordinator from each batch of each IIT depending on year of graduation. The Alumni Council is supplemented by the city council which comprises of 3-7 members from each of the cities around the world which have a sizeable alumni population. The day to day working of the Council is managed by Admin volunteers who are typically senior alumni with time and resources to contribute to Alumni Activities.
